Founded in 1900 in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, as the only culinary ryokan, Unazuki Entaijiso Ryokan has long been devoted to offering sincere hospitality and perfecting the art of traditional ryokan service for each guest.
Yumeji Takehisa, Akiko Yosano, Yasunari Kawabata, and many other cultural figures have cherished this place. Their spirit still quietly lives here today.

Nestled along the streams of Kurobe Gorge, surrounded by abundant nature, the ryokan offers sweeping views of the gorge as it changes with the seasons.

The source of Unazuki Onsen’s waters flows from Kuronagi, upstream of the Kurobe River.
This clear alkaline simple spring is gentle on the skin and rich in metasilicic acid, a natural moisturizing ingredient also found in skincare products, leaving your skin smooth and hydrated.

    A small trolley train runs through Japan’s deepest V-shaped gorge, the Kurobe Gorge. Covering 20.1 km from Unazuki to Keyakidaira, the journey passes through 41 tunnels and over 21 bridges, offering an exhilarating experience.
